Wildflower Festival
25 Years of Wildflower
The Wildflower Music Festival is the primary fundraiser for the Pebble Creek Ski Patrol and celebrated its 25th anniversary last year. The funds raised from the Wildflower Music Festival go towards paying for medical supplies, toboggans, emergency equipment, and other necessities to help the Patrol function. The funds were also used to build and later expand the Patrol building found near the bottom of the Skyline lift and the Top Shack found at the top of Pebble Creek Ski Area. All materials and labor were either donated or paid for with donated funds.
The Pebble Creek Ski Patrol is an all volunteer and non-profit organization comprised of Idaho community members who share a love of skiing, snowboarding, and service to the community. Patrol members are not paid. Because Ski Patrol members provide essential services as volunteers to the Ski Area, it allows the ski area to be more cost effective and family friendly. Patrollers are trained and certified in First Aid techniques nearly equivalent to an EMT. All must show proficiency in skiing or snowboarding as well as safely transporting patients down the mountain in toboggans.
